I have over 35 years experience of teaching yoga, having studied at both the Sivananda ashram at Neyyar Dam with Swami Vishnudevananda and over several years with Dr B P Pillai at the Institute of Yoga Therapy in Kerala, South India. I continue to develop my own personal practice and attend workshops and seminars with teachers here in the UK. I teach regular weekly classes, offer one to one yoga and yoga therapy sessions, taught on the YogaScotland Foundation Course for many years and run the Scottish School of Yoga Therapy training course for yoga teachers who wish to become yoga therapists.

Massage techniques were part of my yoga therapy training. Many of these techniques have informed my massage practice over the years and enriched the massage training I did here in the UK.

I studied astrology in the 1980s to expand my interest in psychology which I studied at university in the 1970s. In the 90s I continued my interest in psychology and qualified with a post-grad diploma in Counselling Studies from Edinburgh University.
Having learnt Autogenics for my own use, I had the opportunity to study for the BAS Diploma in Autogenic Therapy in 2004. Autogenics is a simple yet powerful relaxation technique which can have a profound impact on the way we approach life.
